Removing Acrylic Fingernails

Problems with your nails? You just can’t have them long? Now there is a solution to hide this detail: acrylic fingernails. Their look is so natural and you can choose any color or shape you want. Fake nails are a good solution if you are biting your nails. Maybe you will stop it, after applying acrylic fingernails. You wouldn’t have what to chew anymore.And one more thing, fake nails allow you to create the most beautiful designs.

When there comes the time to remove them, you may think that you should go to a salon. This can operation can be done at home, without feeling any pain. It is really is if you follow the steps bellow. Don’t forget, fake nails are well anchored into your natural nails, so the idea of biting, pulling or prying them is no good at all. Your natural nails may suffer irremediable and serious injuries. The only thing you need is just a little patience.

If you decided you start removing acrylic fingernails you have to take in consideration two ways of doing it. You can simply purchase a nail removal kit or treat them with acetone. You already know that you are not supposed to use the last one too frequently.

If you buy your kit you will also use: clipper; file; nail buffer; cotton sticks and balls; hand cream or olive oil; acetone; petroleum jelly ; a smooth towel.
Removing acrylic fingernails may take some time, so be prepared.
First of all, make sure that you will not make big mess in the room. So laying out newspaper pages may be a good idea. Prepare some paper towels close to you. You will use them to dry your hands and remove nail polish. Finally you will lay on them the acrylic fingernails as you get them down.
To make the process easier clip your nails. Shorter they are, the better it will be. File off resin and nail polish; Prevent skin drying with the help of some petroleum jelly applied on your fingers. Acetone will work faster if warmed for a little time in the microwave.

Then pour in a glass bowl the entire bottle.Now you can start soaking your nails in it. After 15 minutes, you should observe that acrylic nails come apart. Peel them off slowly and put back your fingers in acetone. Repeat this operation until you removed entirely the fake nails. Don’t scrape any acrylic spots that remain glued on your nails. They will grow off, with the time.



Now you are done. Wash your hand with warm water. Dry them with a smooth towel and moisturize them with the olive oil or a hydrating cream. This will prevent them from drying, after being soaked for a long time in acetone. Smoothen your natural nails with the buffer. Don’t be upset that their look is rather rough. It is a normal thing after being covered by the acrylic nails. The glue remained on your natural nails can be removed with some cotton balls soaked in acetone.
